BERKELEY, CALIFORNIA — November 12, 2020 — COVID-19 testing startup Curative today announced the deployment of a new flu vaccine walk-up kiosk in Berkeley with up to available to all are and nearby area residents. The site is located near McLaughlin Eastshore State Seashore and will be the first public flu vaccine kiosk with no cost to patients in Berkeley.

Curative also offers an oral-fluid swab test in Berkeley located at the Berkeley Adult School (1701 San Pablo Ave), Monday through Saturday from 9am to 3pm. Curative’s unique, self-collected oral fluid swab COVID-19 test offers a painless, simple option with quick 24-48-hour results and no cost to patients. An alternative method to nasopharyngeal or brain swabs in testing for COVID-19, the entire Curative test is done without having to come into close contact with others, therefore eliminating the need for personal protective equipment (PPE) changes. Flu vaccines are currently available by walk-up or appointment at the 6th street locaton in the Berkeley neighborhood. Appointments are available at curative.com as well as additional information on all of Curative’s offerings.
