Turner
Chief Executive Officer, Co-Founder
Fred Turner is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Curative. A British scientist from West Yorkshire, Turner attended the University of Oxford. Mr. Turner was named one of the top 100 practicing scientists in the UK by the Science Council 2013. Turner was included in Forbes “30 Under 30” list and ranked first in the European Union Contest for Young Scientists. Curative has been critical and a national leader in bringing COVID-19 testing and vaccine-administration resources in response to the pandemic, having provided more than 32 million tests and two million vaccines across thousands of locations in 40+ states.
Concurrently, Curative has created and launched a first-of-its-kind health insurance plan offering that offers unmatched transparency into health care costs. Curative is working to remake our health care system into one that works for and supports patients’ whole health and well-being through every step of their personal health journey. The Curative health plan has no copays, no deductibles, no cost-sharing for its members.
Turner previously founded and led a 16z and YC-backed diagnostics (Dx) startup that built a CLIA lab for validating and launching an STD testing product in Menlo Park, California.
Isaac
Turner
Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder
Dr. Isaac Turner is the Chief Technology Officer and a co-founder of Curative. During his career, he has developed algorithms for interpreting whole genome sequencing data, helped Curative scale its lab and field operations to provide over 36 million COVID PCR tests, and oversaw the launch of Curative’s COVID vaccine program, which completed over 2 million immunizations. He is passionate about using technical innovation to improve the patient experience and scaling these processes. Previously at an a16z-backed biotech startup, Dr. Turner helped establish a clinical lab offering novel antibiotic susceptibility tests. He holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from Oxford in DNA sequence analysis.

Wilson-Ciranna
President & Chief Financial Officer
Tami Wilson-Ciranna is President & CFO and has an extensive financial and leadership background in a variety of industries specializing in high growth companies. She uses her leadership experience to structure organizations to allow accelerated growth. Previously, she was CFO of Prolacta Bioscience, Inc. a high growth biotech company, and prior to that CFO of CommonWealth Partners an investment management company. She is a CPA and has her MBA from UCLA.

Henry
Chief Marketing Officer
Beth Henry is CMO and a proven senior executive with 20+ years of experience in health care. Prior to joining Curative, she most recently served as Vice President and CMO of the U.S. Medical Business for Cigna Health Care. In this role, Beth led the team that developed and executed marketing strategies to drive growth for both the Commercial and Government segments and was accountable for bringing the business value proposition to life. Beth has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Bryn Mawr College and an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Sean has extensive experience building, empowering, and leading national sales and account management teams to realize unparalleled bottom-line profit and revenue. A forward-thinking executive with both tactical and strategic vision, Sean has shown verifiable success in optimizing efficiency to dramatically impact top and bottom lines.

Charles
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Brandon Charles is the Chief Medical Officer of Curative, bringing a wealth of experience from his time in provider organizations with a commitment to quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare. His expertise lies in strategic healthcare delivery, marked by a compassionate, member-focused approach. Dr. Charles earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. He completed his Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at UT Southwestern, training at Methodist and Parkland hospitals in Dallas. He is also an alumnus of Harvard Business School through the General Management Program. Before embarking on his career in managed care, Dr. Charles practiced as an Obstetrician and Gynecologist for two decades in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Frierdich
General Counsel
Katherine Frierdich, JD, MBA, is General Counsel of Curative. Prior to joining, Katherine spent 15 years as a litigator with Bryan Cave LLP. She also worked as Regional General Counsel to numerous Centene-owned health plans offering managed care and commercial plans, and as General Counsel on the provider side.
David “Deke”
Ellwanger
SVP of Development
David “Deke” Ellwanger has spent the last 37 years in the health care industry. He is currently the SVP of Development at Curative and oversees expanding the Curative product across Texas and other markets. He was a President for a division of Healthways, the country’s largest population health management company, President of HealthSpring, COO for Windsor Health Plans, and a Regional Vice President for Aetna’s second largest market. He built or acquired over 15 HMOs. In addition, he has operated physician practices as well as working in the hospital setting. Deke was part of three separate executive teams successfully taking three companies public.

Riggs
SVP of Pharmacy Services
Crystal Riggs, PharmD, FASCP, is the Senior Vice President, Pharmacy Services. She leads the organization’s pharmacy strategy. Dr. Riggs is an experienced clinical leader and pharmacist with over 25 years of health care experience including over 13 years in managed care. Prior to joining Curative, Dr. Riggs led the Managed Markets team at Smith and Nephew. Previously, Dr.
Riggs led the Pharmacy Clinical Affairs team at Aetna and has held other leadership roles at Express Scripts, CVS Health, Navitus Health Solutions, Cardinal Health, Walgreens, PharMerica and Kindred Healthcare. Dr. Riggs received her Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Jeannie Smith is the Sr Vice President of Customer Success at Curative. She brings over 25 years of experience in Customer Success to her role and has been with Curative since its inception building a Customer Care (emphasis on Care) experience that is second to none. Jeannie has held Customer Care and Success leadership roles in multiple business disciplines and brings a unique and creative perspective on how to care for you and your family as if they were our own.

Ramzy ElGomayel is Senior Vice President of Network Development and Management. He is a strategic and collaborative leader with a long history of success, quickly identifying opportunities to improve top and bottom-line performance and implementing effective solutions. With a broad experience from fast-paced healthcare startups to multibillion-dollar enterprises, he has a demonstrated record of developing strong external relationships and inspiring teams through engaging leadership.
